hey, not martha readers!

thanks for dropping by! (and many thanks to megan for all the fabulous links!) here's a bonus sugar skull lantern that i whipped up tonight as thanks for clicking through!

(made from a recycled glass, recycled construction paper, orange tissue paper and a tea light.)

if you're interested, you can check out all of my halloween decorations for 2009 in the flickr set. i'll post final photos of everything installed here and on my flickr page on halloween!

thanks again for stopping by!

i'm back up to my old stenciling tricks!

no, it's not news of a new show (although i AM working on something) but i thought you s&f stencil fans might like to see one of my new halloween decorations.

(it's made from a recycled glass jar, recycled construction paper, a bit of tape and two tea lights.)

it's our first halloween in our house and i'm *so excited*! (me = halloweiner) you can view the growing set in real time here. i'll be posting about the whole thing on our house blog on the 31st.

oh, in case you don't know about werewolf bar mitzvah, click here and thank me later.

gallery lele show!

i know, i know, i'm terrible about keeping you up to date on things these days. here is something though! i got a picture from the gallery lele show in tokyo where, apparently, i sold something! hooray!

here's the installation shot of the second leg of the "forget me-not" show in case you're interested!

it's nice to make some yen! (even though it'll be converted to usd in my bank account.)

reminder: fiber arctic opening tonight!

just a quick reminder that the fiber arctic opening is tonight at schmancy from 6-9!

sadly, i wont be there because of the whole house thing (ok, i'm not sad about my that. at all! haha! but you get my meaning.) but there's going to be some really awesome stuff on display! drop by and say hi to my ice cold deer, won't you?

bremerton, here we come!

hey, kiddos! today is the day that we, barring any unforeseen weirdness, close on and then start moving into our house! hooray!!!!

i'll be without a home internet connection from the 11th until the 16th. yodeer is set to autopost during that time so you won't be missing a daily deer. unfortunately, i probably won't be able to respond to email, etc during the internet outage.

if you'd like to see what i'm up to, i'll be posting via mobile to my twitter account. i might also throw a few cameraphone images up on my flickr account as well. but if you *really* need to get in touch with me, text me. if i'm not in the middle of painting the stairs, i'll get back to you.

bremerton, here we come!

in no way related to art stuff...

this is in no way related to s&f, but i thought i'd pass along the news that leff and i got approved for our home loan!

it also looks like we're going to be closing earlier than we thought which is fine since everything is already packed.

anyway, yodeer will continue during the move to our first house/opening in seattle/painting/massive cleaning/having visitors in from out of town/my finishing the three pieces for an upcoming show in tokyo/unpacking. (*whew* june is going to be busy!)

hopefully, our internet connection will be fairly constant so there won't be a break in deer posts. however, if it does happen, please bear with me.

k, i'm off to finish cleaning our apartment!

fiber arctic show announcement!

hey there, readers! just thought i'd drop by to mention my next show!

it's at schmancy on june 12 from 6-9p. i'm hoping to be there but leff and i are supposedly closing on our house on the 11th and starting the moving process the next day. (we have a house blog now in case you're interested.)

still, it's going to be a great show! you should *totally* check it out!
