tom bakered beans (for leff)

tom baker made from baked beans.

i mistakenly thought that tom baker was one of leff's favorite doctors because of his curly hair. wrong. apparently, he was leff's "first doctor" and, well, you never forget your first doctor.

tina feyonaise

tina fey made from nayonaise.

the latest vanity fair has lodged the multitalented fey firmly in my cerebral cortex. although, let's be honest. i think about how brilliant she is *waaaay* more than is healthy.

pamuel clemens

samuel clemens made from pam with flour.

last week, i read a lot of mark twain's works on google books. (i also watched a few twain documentaries on the xbox.)

i'd forgotten how much i enjoyed huck finn. i'd also forgotten how much it meant that my english teacher in middle school recommended it to me despite the school board's objection to the book.

i'm baaaaaaack

hello again, my most favorite readers in the world! i've been given the go ahead by the doctor to move around so i'll be getting back up to speed here at s&f. (if you require more info as to what's going on click here. although, for the life of me, i can't see why it would be interesting.)

ANYWAY, since i don't have a completed stencil yet, i thought i'd post a photo of one of my very first fugitives. here's a silkscreen of christ's head on a corn tortilla from 1998 entitled "eat me". (if i am anything, i'm irreverent.)

also, here's a lovely fugitive rakka lamb grill steak that mr. hyde made for me! thanks so much! (and thanks to all of the other well wishers out there!)

(original here)

new fugitive coming up soon! i'll also be playing catch up on the week that i missed.

on hiatus

hey, loyal readers. here's the thing. i have to get an mri. i'm on pain med that knocks me out and i'm not sure if i'm going to have to start physical therapy or not.

what that means for you is that there probably won't be anything to read here for a while. i'm not sure how long i'll be away but i'll try to complete the project by the end of jan if possible. if i can't, i'm sorry. i will, however be attempting to start a new 365 project in 2009. hopefully in feb.

thanks for stopping by. here's hoping i'll be able to bring you daily programming again soon!
