happy halloween! i thought i'd end the month with two jack o'lanterns! (i'll update the site with the second after i get back from the dentist and carve it. edit: sorry, no time for an extra pumpkin.)

anyway, here's the first: a zack o'lantern.

i heart bela lugosi movies, i really do. but my favorite thing about mr. lugosi is the fact that he inspired this bauhaus song.

ameri-can werewolf in london

the david kessler character from "an american werewolf in london" as seen in the "nightmare scene" in the hospital (6:38-6:55)(part of video possibly nsfw)) on a can.

i watch "american werewolf" every year and, i swear, it's still as funny and incredible as the first time i saw it.

the sequel? let's just forget that i mentioned it...

as far as koji suzuki's books go, the ring was the best of the trilogy, imho.
