watch the opening and you'll understand why i was hooked on manga and anime from an early, early age. (i mean, that guy that crashes his car over the cliff? he didn't parachute out! (that was a big deal to me at 6.))

It's funny...growing up in Hong Kong back in the 60s, we watched Japanese cartoons all the time, but we never had a special name for them ("manga", "anime"); they were just THE cartoons. :)
