a week of "princess bride" starting with buttercup

"the princess bride" is one of my favorite movies. after watching it again last night, i realized that there were plenty of fugitives (literally and, er, this blog-ery) to be made!

today i'll start with robin wright penn as buttercup made from butter. you know, it would've been great to have things just, well, work on the first day of this series. naturally, that wasn't the case.

we'll get to the (fourth try) butter buttercup in a moment. first, however, the stencil. you can see the butter starting to ooze through.

and here's the butter buttercup.

i somehow don't think that robin wright penn has ever been that greasy in her entire life.

anyway, i'll be back tomorrow with another "princess bride" fugitive. hopefully that one will be more successful.

It ain't easy working with butter; I'd probably eat it all before I lay down the third stroke. ;) Cute Buttercup, anyway.

I can't wait to see the rest of the Princess Bribe theme! I liked the movie, but I LOVED the book.
