i shot it sideways and then rotated it in virtual dub, groc. (i also did a 2:1 high quality reduction filter and compressed as divx 5.2.1 codec but those steps probably don't matter as much as the rotation. ;D)
(I bet if I did that and uploaded the result to flickr - they'd still rotate it back again.)
probably. they don't really know what they're doing when it comes to video. i doubt that they'll learn either since so few people use it on their site (no matter how hard they push it.)
